To those of you that commented on this feature I apologize for not allowing your comments to go through and get posted. I didn't realize that they were stuck as "pending" on this board also wasn't being notified. Another partner just brought this to my attention. :-(
This feature has been planned from the inception of AutoElevate although there have been many other features in the queue ahead of it.
Some preliminary development took place behind the scenes in the last couple months with the release of our incremental billing changes. We now are producing a monthly breakdown of the Agents that are deployed to each company which can be provided to you upon request. Soon this will be setup to automatically be provided to the billing contact each month, with the next step making it automatically available for agreements.
I don't have a solid eta on this yet but based on the votes and comments here will revisit the urgency of this in the development queue with the team.

Wanted to add a suggestion to this: Auto-decommission timeframes would be awesome for clean-up routines we have. For instance, if machine hasn't checked in to the portal in XX number of days, remove from portal.
We do this with a couple other vendors and make sure that the software gets pushed via Automate groups. In the event that its removed from the portal but the machine comes back online, the idea is that AE will uninstall itself, but Automate will be scanning computers for presence of that software and remediating accordingly.

Peter Pokorny - currently any Agents that haven't checked in within the last 30 days will have a 'grey' status and are not counted against the billed Agent count. If you delete the Agent from the Admin Portal (clicking the trash can next to the computer or using 'delete' from the actions menu) will remove them from the Admin Portal and if they do check back in they will be issued an 'uninstall' command and will automatically uninstall themselves.
We will discuss and consider the suggestion for a 'auto-decommission' timeframe feature that would automatically remove them based on a number of days.
