Change status and check status programtically

Is there a way to programmatically change Audit to Live, UAC to Maximum, Remove Admin to On after deployment/installation? I know they can be changed via the portal, but for those of us that use automated workstation setups and changes, this is rather important. 

On a similar request, can we ascertain the status of the various items programmatically, not via the portal.
